The Company:
One of the Asean region oilrig service provider based in KL with offshore Slickline operations in East Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo.

The Role:
To assist the Group Risk Manager in implementation and management of the Enterprise Risk Management framework.

BASIC FUNCTION
1. Assisting in Managing and executing a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, mitigating, monitoring and reporting of risks to the Risk Committee.
2. Assisting in promoting effective and efficient risk awareness culture and providing professional recommendation to mitigate risk that beneficial to company.
3. Assisting in continuously promoting good corporate governance best principles and practices culture, and value-added business systems and processes to the Group.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES
1. To manage and execute a comprehensive process for identifying, assessing, mitigating, monitoring and reporting of risks of business unit.
2. To assist the business unit in assessing project and other initiative risk.
3. To promote effective and efficient risk awareness culture and provide reasonable recommendation to mitigate risk that beneficial at business unit level.
4. To promote good corporate governance best principles and practices culture, and value-added business systems and processes at business unit level.
5. To coordinate / supervise Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) routinely at business unit level.
6. To aggregate the business unit risk position and quarterly reporting to the Management on the risk situation/status.
7. To provide value added services including recommending for beneficial and practical risk mitigating action plan to the risk issues.
8. To educate the staff to understand ERM Framework and Policies as well as the assessment of the risk at business unit level.
9. To adapt and adopt the knowledge obtained from training.
10. To perform any other initiatives / programs requested by the Group Risk Manager.

KEY CHALLENGES
1. To provide value added services including recommending for beneficial and practical risk mitigating action plan to the risk issues.
2. To educate the staff to understand risk management processes including the assessment of the risk throughout the Group.
3. To adapt and adopt the knowledge obtained from training.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
1. Possess a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy, Economics, Business, Engineering or other related fields.
2. Having at least 3 - 4 years of experience preferably in O&G or other related field.
3. Good in oral communication and report writing skills.
4. Other necessary attributes include hands-on approach, adaptability, meticulous, a good team player and the ability to work independently.
5. Passionate in risk management subject matter.
6. Some working experience involving project risk assessment would be an advantage.
7. Willing to travel and able to commit to urgency when required.
