The Company:
Oil and gas company (our client) is urgently looking for ASSISTANT RIG MANAGER (OFFSHORE RIG):

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE Fluent Russian, intermediate English. Experience in Offshore driling operations (STRICT).

Basic Function: Carry out the drilling operations activities of the Rig Manager during 12 hour night shift on assigned rig. Includes maintaining the ton miles register ensuring maintenance of mud pump log books and conferring with the Manager (Rig) as required. Ensure strict adherence to

The Role:
Each job holder has the following responsibilities for asset integrity as enshrined in the Asset Integrity Management System of the Company:
a) Ensures that processes and procedures on board assigned rig comply with Company asset integrity requirements.
b) Ensures that all personnel and contractors on board the assigned rig are fully trained in the requirements of Company Asset Integrity policies and procedures (particularly Management of Change, Materials and spares quality management systems and Integrity reporting).
c) Ensures that any modifications to Rig, equipment, procedures and personnel are carried out in accordance with the corporate MOC standard.
d) Takes charge of and technically approves MOC requests up to delegated integrity criticality rating.
e) Ensures that scheduled maintenance, inspection and monitoring activities are completed in a timely manner, including reporting of any overdue PMS as required by Integrity management.
f) Has responsibility to ensure that any impairment of integrity and HSE critical elements and systems is immediately reported as per Company procedures and promptly rectified.
g) Ensures periodic integrity reviews are completed in a timely manner. Responsibility includes requesting integrity audits by Head Office as per company procedures.
a) Responsible to regularly tour rig and report all integrity concerns to Head Office and follows up same for speedy close out.
b) Pro-actively reports all incidents that are integrity related with a view to preventing actual incidence of events where the integrity of assets are compromised
c) Participates actively in the Company objectives for meeting the corporate targets for integrity performance by cascading integrity responsibilities to staff on assigned rig.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
a) B.Sc. in an Engineering discipline preferably Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering complimented with short courses in drilling technology, safety measures and practices, life saving and offshore survival.
b) Six years' experience in oil drilling operations including 4 years as Tour-pusher on an offshore rig.
c) Excellent communication and leadership skills.
d) Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
e) Valid I.W.C.F. Certification Supervisory level.
