The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The D8 Programme Management team is responsible for the programme management of L359, L538 & L550 product development activities. The office is part of the Product Processes and Operations group and additionally reports to the car-line Chief Programme Engineer. Reporting to the Platform Manager, the primary roles involve leading and supporting programme team members in the planning, co-ordination, approval, reporting and delivery of all L359 and L538 Vehicle Line Business Review (VLBR) and Feature Change Implementation Management (FCIM) activities. The VLBR activities involve leading the wider team in organising the L359 & L538 VLBR process that manages the overall vehicle line profitability. This involves the management of the VLBR level 3 meeting and leading ideas generation, programme proposals, initial buy-in and delivery of minor programme activity into the production plant. The FCIM activities involve managing the L359 & L538 meeting and the wider team members to ensure the respective vehicle line programmes have integrated business introduction plans for feature change. This includes the management of the weekly FCIM meeting, tracking actions through the eTracker system and reporting the status to VLBR / LMM, as appropriate. To ensure robust delivery for change, VLBR and FCIM changes that have a direct affect to the Halewood production plant are to be owned, managed and delivered by the successful applicant. Manage and author Product Letters (PDL's) in PDL-DOTS as required, manage responses and resolve issues leading to PDL approval. Maintain and communicate accurate programme assumptions between issues of the PDL. Use of the PACN process to manage programme change.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Have a determination to get the job done, being self-motivated and able to deliver with minimum supervision
* Be comfortable handling multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
* Demonstrate the ability to lead the resolution of business and process issues within a Project Team environment
* Be thorough and capable of sustained attention to detail
* Have excellent oral and written communication skills
* Possess good IT skills and be fluent in Power Point and Excel
* Previous experience within Programmes with a good knowledge of product development processes and PCDS will be beneficial

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* A good working knowledge of Change Control and Product Definition
* Have a degree of competitor and market awareness
* Have a passion for our client's products
* Be product literate
