The Company:
An international EPC Company involved in LNG and Mining Projects.

This position is for a Multi-Billion Dollar LNG project now in Construction phase.

The Role:
The Assistant Technical Services Manager administratively reports to the respective Area Construction Manager and technically reports to Technical Services Manager.

E&I Assistant Technical Services Manager for LNG Plant is responsible for:
• E&I underground work for LNG Trains, Acid Gas Removal Unit and Permanent Utilities Areas, Tanks, Jetty, and Construction Accommodation.
• E&I aboveground Installation of Inlet, MEG, AGRU, LNG Trains and Permanent Utilities Areas, Tanks Jetty, and Construction Accommodation .
• Coordination of testing of systems as required.
• Provide support to pre-commissioning and commissioning as required.

E&I ATSM is responsible for following functions in for Electrical and Instrumentation for Infrastructure and LNG Facility:
• All Technical activities for the area to ensure AC compliance with Specifications and drawings.
• Conformance with the engineering design and quality control.
• Resolution of Technical Queries from the Contractor
• Provision of both construction engineering assistance to the Contractor.
• Liaising with Site Document Control and Site Engineering Manager to resolve issues as required.
• Liaising with Engineering and Procurement on the status, quality and availability of deliverables, including materials, drawings and documentation to support the construction schedules.
• Interpretation of engineering design and technical information and coordination with Contractors to resolve technical queries.
• Controlling and issuing all technical documentation in the field
• Review of signed off “As Built” drawings and maintenance of "As Built” drawing systems.
• Review, acceptance and forwarding of punch list items to Completions Coordinator.
• Monitoring and removing completed punch items from punch list.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
• Extensive post graduate experience with previous experience of the installation of Oil & Gas E&I installations in accordance with AS3000 and Project Standards
• Experience in installation of Hazardous Area Equipment.
• Conversant with AS3000 requirements.
• Significant experience in Australian and other International Codes and Standards.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Installation and testing of GTG’s, HV/MV GIS Substations and 10MVA VSDS
• Complex below ground cable installation.
