The Company:
Our client is a leading oil and gas service company.

The Role:
With oversight, this position will be responsible for assisting Company project engineer(s) with delivery of technical engineering work products required to construct modifications to Project. Ability to work indepenently on multiple projects through all stages. Projects involve multiple engineering disciplines, and working knowledge of civil, mechanical and electrical engineering is helpful. Assist the project engineer to produce cost effective and fit-for-purpose project plans, specifications and engineer's estimates compliant with Company business processes, industry standards, codes, regulations and laws. The work product (drawings, specifications, designs, and reports, etc.) of the contractor employee are required to be stamped with a disclaimer that indicates the work is DRAFT and requires review and approval of an Company engineer. Travel to field sites including pump stations may be requiired. Abilility to work well with in-house and contractor resources is required. Travel to the field for extended periods may be required and may include working seven days a week.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree with a major in engineering from an institution accredited by ABET.

Passing grade on the Engineer in Training exam.

Ability to apply engineering principles and techniques.

Ability to perform mathematical computations applied to engineering operations.

Ability to prepare, interpret and utilize engineering plans, maps and specifications.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, contractors, and clients.

Some knowledge of engineering computer applications.

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Two (2) years experience

Working knowledge of the practical application of engineering principles, standard construction methods and equipment.

Working knowledge of current engineering principles and practices applied in the design, construction and operations of Company related engineering projects.

Working knowledge of principles and practices applied in the inspection and testing of construction materials.
