The Role:
• Support the document management and facilitation process for the Quality Assurance and Audit Group for the Wheatstone LNG Project. • Maintain Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective Action Request (CAR) database and report log. • Maintain the NCR/CAR “aging” status report and keep in a current up to date status pertaining to open NCR/CAR’s. • Update the NCR/CAR log to track progress across the document lifecycle. Assist in documentation collection in the progression of the lifecycle phases with regard to completeness and accuracy of the Log Report. • Assist the Quality Auditing Department in the preparation of audit status updates. • Prepare memos and official company transmittal of documents associated with audits from Company to Contractor. • Provide assistance to the Quality Audit Team Lead regarding audit schedule management and updating. • Support the Lead Auditor for updating audit technical notes with comments received from subject matter experts from Company and Contractor. • Update official audit records with updated information from technical reviews and submitted documentation from Contractor. • Maintain accuracy of technical review notes to facilitate use in writing audit Corrective Action Requests. • Support the Quality Assurance Team Lead in development and preparation of audit final reports. • Seek assistance in completing assigned tasks to ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance with Company and Project procedures/processes. • Seek additional tasks when current tasks have been completed. • Render continuous improvement opinions and suggestions to improve workflow, efficiency, and effectiveness. • Process assigned Project official documentation (includes engineering/technical, correspondence, project management - commercial, legal) generated by COMPANY and CONTRACTOR to be stored in the Document Management System. • Perform quality control checks to ensure compliant documentation according to non-technical procedural processes; seek assistance if questionable. • Expedite and track status of all documents reviewed internally by the Project upon request. • Process transmittal of information between COMPANY and CONTRACTOR to expedite information flow. • Actively participate in Company safety program and practice safe working habits for self and fellow employee’s. • Attend meetings and prepare Minutes of Meetings (MOM) **90% - Day to day processing of transmittals **10% - Assisting the project team with requests/ad-hoc assistance
HS or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years previous Document Control experience preferred • Minimum of 2 years using an electronic document management system preferred • Working Knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment using Microsoft Applications • Must have a methodical and well organized approach to the work environment • Must possess a can do attitude & will do actions • Be able to receive constructive criticism for professional growth
• Take direction from skilled Quality Department personnel to enhance skill set as well as interaction with Chevron’s Document Control team. • Process all Project and audit official documentation (includes engineering/technical, correspondence, audit documentation, project management - commercial, legal) generated by COMPANY and CONTRACTOR to be stored in the Document Management System. • Process transmittal of information between COMPANY and CONTRACTOR.
