Our Client is an International Oil and Gas Operator involved in 2 of Australia's largest LNG Projects based in Western Australia. The Role:
For our client we are looking for an Assurance Coordinator – Contracting & Procurement for a 12 month contract. As part of the overall Business Assurance team, your key responsibilities include:

- Lead and develop the owners assurance activities in the areas of Contracting & Procurement including but not limited to: ensuring contractual compliance of owner’s assurance safeguards, looking for opportunities to align existing processes and best practices across the project delivery teams, coordination and management of internal and external audits

- Look for opportunities and make recommendations in the areas of Contracting and Procurement to ensure internal control processes are fit-for-purpose within established Corp guidelines. Develop and deploy KPI metrics that analyze the effectiveness of key internal control processes and leading indicators of potential process gaps. Act as Change Management steward when new or modified key process changes are required.

- Provide strategic analysis by utilizing project management principles (e.g. CSOC, CPDEP, SWOT, DQ Spider analysis, etc.), internal control knowledge, and leveraged SME’s to recommend and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.

- Build and maintain working relationships with appropriate staff to enhance understanding of EPC and major contracts and to influence change as needed.

- Actively champions safety initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will need to be an experienced SME - CP&SC professional with strong background in procurement, materials, and logistics management, including full suite of activities in post-award contract / sub-contract administration. For this position you will need to have a Bachelor of Engineering and an MBA Commercial Management. Other key skills include:

- Analytical Ability - Able to analyze data sets of qualitative and quantitative data to identify root causes of business process issues.

- Customer focus - Ability to understand and then designs work efforts (assessments) with the customer in mind resulting in providing relevant information to management.

- Communication - Solutions orientated and ability to present information and recommendations in a compelling way that influences stakeholders. Communicates in a clear, concise, understandable manner both orally and in writing.
