The Company:
a major Oil and Gas Operator is seeking a Assurance Interface and Risk Coordinator.

The Role:
The Assurance, Interface, and Risk (AIR) Coordinator will be a position that reports to the AIR Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day activities supporting the assurance, interface, risk decision quality and Management of Change processes. The position will be responsible for the following activities throughout Project Execution: Primary (Lead) responsibilities:

• Risk Management - facilitate project execution Risk Management process, in the identification, assessment, mitigation development and tracking using RIMS application. Includes working level sessions with functional teams and regular reviews with the Leadership team. Also responsible for regular reporting to Partners.
• Lessons Learned – track application of external lessons learned on the project, and facilitate sessions to capture project lessons. Includes working level sessions with functional teams and regular reviews with the Leadership team. Also responsible for regular reporting to Partners. Secondary responsibilities – as backup for other team members or as responsibilities shift:
• Project Management of Change – backup responsibility for execution of MOC Processes to control changes of scope locked down in execution, including facilitation of Change Review Board (CRB) sessions, maintaining MOC database, follow up to ensure proper execution of MOCs and closure of action items, reporting and holding meetings as required to manage impact of Operations MOCs on the project
• Decision Quality Process – backup responsibility to identify, assess and document key decisions in execution, including assisting team members to generate alternatives, document key criteria and information, assess trade-offs and develop recommendations for approval. Ensure coordination and alignment between Project team and Operations and maintain the Decision Register for the Project
• Interface Management – backup responsibility to provide formal identification, tracking, and closing of project technical interfaces (exchange of key information between related projects, operations, EPCI contractors and suppliers)
• Support AIR Manager and participate in assurance activities such as the Project Execution Plan and readiness reviews The AIR Coordinator will possess the following key skills:
• Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with disciplines within and external to the project team and embed a proactive culture for AIR / Risk / Lessons Learned processes to support project execution
• Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering, Construction and Operations staff, facilitating agreement and resolution across functional disciplines within the project team, and between project and contractors, tech support groups, and customers outside the project team
• Effectively hold meetings that promote communication and resolution of issues, and result in actions being captured and tracked
• Highly developed writing skills so that key points are concisely captured with no ambiguity
• Organizational and project planning skills and execution experience in facilities capital projects or MCPs to effectively manage numerous assurance, risk and interface activities (Offshore experience involving EPC contractors a plus)
• Strong attention to detail to ensure that proper documentation is developed and captures decisions, resolutions, and/or actions (knowledge of databases and document management systems a plus)
• Fundamental knowledge of oil and gas of facilities design, fabrication, and construction standards This position provides opportunity of broad technical and commercial exposure in geographically diverse settings.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
4 year engineering degree, Masters desirable

5 to 10 years industry experience, focus on major capital projects, experience managing/participating in an Risk Management process

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
International travel may be required.
