The Company:
Our Client has operations in the world’s most important oil and gas regions and are leaders in working in extremely difficult environments. They have interests in many offshore producing fields in the UK, including five operated fields and five partner-operated fields. The company also has interests in Denmark, the Faroe Islands, the Netherlands and Norway. The client is the largest private producer of oil in Kazakhstan and the top O&G producer in Thailand.

The Role:
• Ensure that Project groups identify interfaces with other project groups (usually exchange of information) – should include what, when and who. Will involve facilitating cross group interface meetings.
• Ensure all major contractors have a functioning interface management system, with defined work processes, for coordinating both internal (inter-disciplinary) and external contracting interfaces.
• Ensure that detailed responsibilities at the contractual boundaries of multiple contracts are clearly identified, understood, and positively managed and that the interfaces are technically managed according to appropriate engineering, construction, and commissioning standards.

• Become familiar with project schedules such that commercial exposures resulting from late delivery (of information or physical items) of one party to another are identified, valued, and risk assessed as circumstances develop.
• Ensure that all scope of work and scheduling interfaces between contracted organizations and project functional groups are identified and controlled in a way that minimizes risk to project schedule and budget.
• Provide audit/oversight role for both Company and Contractor interface work processes and execution; inform the AIR Coordinator on status, compliance, problem areas, and future direction.
• Coordinate internal and external interface matters through different project phases and project execution.
• Work with all project groups to identify interfaces and prepare and update interface documents.
• Work with the interface engineers within the upstream and downstream teams and FEED EPCm contractors in relation to interface management specifically focusing on :
- Alignment with Project Work processes and project requirements
- Maintaining and updating the interface register database
- Facilitating information and data transfer between interface parties during the Execution and FEED phases
