The Company:
A major operator is seeking a 12+ months contract Assurance, Interface and Risk Coordinator based in Houston, Texas.
The Assurance, Interface, and Risk (AIR) Coordinator will be a position that reports to the AIR Manager
and will be responsible for day-to-day activities supporting the assurance, interface and risk processes
during the design, procurement, fabrication, and construction and commissioning phases of the project.

The Role:
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Interface Management - provide formal identification, tracking, and closing of project technical
interfaces (exchange of key information between related projects, operations, EPCI contractors and
Risk Management - facilitate project execution Risk Management process, in the identification,
assessment, mitigation development and tracking using RIMS application
Project Management of Change (PMOC) Process - assume primary responsibility for execution of
PMOC Process to control changes of scope locked down in Pre-FEED, FEED and execution, including
facilitation of Change Review Board (CRB) sessions, maintaining MOC database, reporting and
holding meetings as required to manage impact of Operations MOCs on the project
Lessons Learned - track application of external lessons learned on the project, and facilitate sessions
to capture project lessons and share within Company
 Decision Register - proper documentation and tracking of key decisions in Pre-FEED, FEED and
 Support AIR Manager and participate in assurance activities such as the IPA Front-End-Loading
assessment, Peer Review, and Project Execution Plan
 Coordinate the use of interface management database including tracking, delivering, and reporting of
project interfaces
 Support the Request for Information (RFI) communication process between Contractors and
Company, including monitoring & reporting
 Coordinate with the project functional leads (risk owners) to ensure risk and mitigation information is
captured accurately
 Coordinate the use of risk management database including monitoring, tracking, delivering, and
reporting of project risks
 Travel to construction sites, shop sites, contractor sites or vendors works to provide technical input as
and when required. Make records of visits with clear and concise reporting.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Essential Skills / Required Qualifications:
 10+ years experience in engineering, design, construction and/or installation of offshore production
facilities. Experience with Brownfield topsides projects preferable.
 Good understanding of offshore facility operating practices. Experience with implementation of IIF
work culture.
 Demonstrated leadership ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with disciplines within and
external to the project team and embed a proactive risk and interface management culture
 Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering, Construction and Operations staff, facilitating
agreement and resolution across functional disciplines within the project team, and between project
and contractors, tech support groups, and customers outside the project team
 Facilitation and communication skills to effectively hold meetings that promote communication and
resolution of issues, and result in action
 Organizational and project planning
