The Company:
Our client is one of Australia's largest exploration and production companies and a key energy provider in both the domestic and international marketplace. They have significant interests in offshore exploration, coal seam gas and renewable energy with a major commitment to safety, quality, and environmental issues.

The Role:
As our client moves into the execution phase of its CSG to LNG Project, an assurance program has been implemented to provide confidence that the Upstream Project is complying with all relevant systems, policies and procedures in delivery of the Project and also minimise and control risk to the Project. An Auditor is required for coordinating and managing internal and external audits covering the entire scope of the Upstream Project: Specifically the auditor will:

• Coordinate, manage and conduct Level 2 compliance audits on all areas of the Upstream Phase 1 Project and also on Contractors engaged by the Project
• Effectively communicate, implement and maintain through continual review the Project Audit procedure and associated documentation.
• Progressively and proactively manage the audit closure process and ongoing monitoring of audit findings including the analyses, identification and reporting of trends.
• Proactively support and direct sub project and service area management teams in relation to Project audits and compliance requirements.
• Identify, develop, schedule, conduct and report on external supplier and contractor compliance audits both within Australia and overseas.
• Effectively maintain all audit records.
• Promote continuous improvement in Project systems, processes and activities wherever possible to meet the goals of the Project.
• Work effectively and collaterally with the Project Team and immediate colleagues in cross-functional relationships, on tasks within the context of corporate policy.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
With a good knowledge of the requirements of Australian Standards, ISO and other standards as necessary, you will have an auditor qualification (Lead Auditor preferable) and a proven background in large scale resource projects at stages including FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning and operations.
