The Role:
Nationality : Thai
Location: Bangkok

The AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) Engineer position requires good qualifications and strong technical abilities and capable of working well within a team. Candidates must have excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, analytical, organisational and presentation skills.
The role includes using specialist knowledge to review the design and deliver solutions, as well as providing technical guidance to others within the employing organisation.
Other requirements are
• working as part of the Control and Communication team
• meet suppliers, customers and colleagues based in other locations
• providing technical guidance to suppliers and other teams
• reviewing / commenting the AFC supplier’s documentation (design, drawing, test procedures and report) before issuing to the client
• monitoring / attending factory and site testing
• interfacing with internal and external entities (other contractors (civil, trackwork, etc), the client and other Thai authorities)
• analyzing and interpreting all suppliers’ submitted data
• working to tight timescales as part of a high-performing team
• propose improvement to the AFC proposed design
• attending to regular meetings with supplier and client
• preparing high-quality written reports and presentations for management and customer review; ensuring that projects are delivered on time, and to agreed standards of quality.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• 5 to 10 years in AFC design, installation and testing
• Good level of English (spoken and written)
• Knowledge of international standards applicable to AFC
