The Company:
Our client is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastics solutions for the infrastructure (pipe systems, and power and communication cables), automotive and advanced packaging markets. They have its headquarters in the UAE and Singapore.

Our client is on the way to increase their capacity even further with a multi - billion dollar mega- project. By the end of 2013, they will have added a 3rd Ethane cracker to create the largest Ethane cracker complex in the world.

The Role:
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will be part of the maintenance execution team and will be responsible on:
• Provides daily support to users of all system of Advanced Process Control Application (APC) based on daily requests received. Discusses major modifications requirements with Team Leader and implements minor modifications directly after approval. Participates in the configuration of graphics, reports, database and real-time computer systems.
• Monitors APC and computer system performance and proposes modifications/ enhancement and tuning to the hardware, operating systems and communication systems to improve system efficiency and performance.
• Liaises and discusses with Process Engineers and supervisors modifications related to Process and Plant Automation, such as material balance, fuel balance, advanced control, and proposes solutions as appropriate.
• Participates in the commissioning and acceptance testing of newly installed APC and Applications. Tests new releases of systems and application software. Coordinates with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) engineers on common issues.
• Participates with maintenance personnel in diagnosing APC and computer systems faults, providing solutions as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Vietnamese only
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering, Process Control or related field.
• Minimum six (6) years experience in Plant Automation / control systems in areas of implementation and support preferably gained in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry
• Knowledge on G2 GENSYM (Expert System Software) & OPC Link Interface implementation and maintenance; Honeywell PHD Historian
• Advance skills in PI Performance Equation, Advance Calculation Engine, and Interfaces like SAP, TIBCO, LIMS, Batch Tracking, etc.
• Excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills.
• Very good team player.
