Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

To provide expert theoretical and practical capability in HVAC systems, to be aware of and to understand in detail the latest developments, and to select and engineer appropriate technical solutions into the Company's products.

Scope of the Role

- Responsible for developing and maintaining technical knowledge/capability.
- Responsible for defining and planning own work for approval by Senior Engineer/Functional Manager.
- Responsible for design of components/systems which, when introduced into production, are safe, legal and otherwise are fit for purpose, (including satisfying product liability requirements) and represents the best compromise between company and customer needs.
- Responsible for providing technical information and guidance to other HVAC relevant engineering areas (i.e. Interior Trim) to ensure optimised HVAC performance while meeting the above criteria.
- Accountable for planning, monitoring and expediting all test, validation and certification of systems/components to demonstrate successful achievement of the above.
- Accountable for timely parts release for prototype build and production, and for timely delivery of all Product Engineering activities required to achieve timely vehicle launch to quality and cost.

Experience & Qualifications

- 3 years experience working as a Project Engineer, ideally within a HVAC departments at an OEM or HVAC supplier.
- Degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline or HNC qualified and able to demonstrate the appropriate level of experience.
