The Role:
Basic Purpose of Job:
Manage activity execution in accordance with HSE culture and approved processes, including strict application of STOP



Supervisory and Managerial Duties:

Main Duties:
Deliver against the key activity milestone delivery dates, providing mitigation where necessary in the case of late delivery.
Develop the full scope for the barge period (up to 6 months) including the period of the annual major shutdown for offshore installations.
Ensure each element of the workscope has an owner with clear accountabilities.
Develop and manage the barge activity and shutdown risk register.
Facilitate challenge sessions to clarify barge activity and shutdown minimum requirements.
Facilitate LEAN sessions to improve key activity effectiveness.
Take ownership of barge activity and shutdown floating networks within SAP.
Provide major input to critical path implementation logic.
Take total ownership of the barge activity and shutdown plan.
Coordinate regular onshore barge activity and shutdown meetings.
Take ownership of barge activity and shutdown preparations including offshore visits as required.
Provide input to HAZIDs and HAZOPs.
Generate the ISSOW register .
Set-up materials management system offshore, identify storage requirements, review laydown & temporary working facilities.
Apply change control procedure for all additions or deletions of scope.
Assist Operations representatives with development of the DFPV and reinstatement and start-up phases.
Co-ordinate barge activity and shutdown resources, supervise and provide direction to the offshore resource during execution.
Provide the key link between Operations, Maintenance, Wells/Development, Fabric Maintenance, Projects, Services and the Shutdown workforce.
Provide briefings to co-ordinate shift changes during offshore implementation.
Provide daily progress updates during implementation phase.
Issue daily progress report to the Maintenance and Shutdown Manager in accordance with the standard template
Liaise with vendors to ensure timely availability of key specialist resources.

Specific Training / Specialist Skills:
Good project engineering skills
Ability to manage sub-contractors
Proactive approach to resolving difficult situations
SAP experience

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience of major barge, turnaround or shutdown coordination (preferred).
Experience within the Oil & Gas Industry, preferably engineering or maintenance background with supervisory experience.

Personal Skills:
Must be a good communicator at all levels
Good interpersonal skills
