The Company:
a Construction and Trading Company is seeking a Business Development Manager for Civil Sector
The Role:
• Focused on Marketing and Selling power generation and gas storage solutions and products to expand and maintain customer accounts
• Conduct relevant market research, assessment and identification of business development opportunities for power generation and gas storage solutions
• Drive growth by creating realistic project pipeline and leading the local marketing and sales efforts
• Actively understand customer needs and guide business teams to establish winning bid strategies for project tender process
• Develop and cultivate network with government agencies, clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers to set partnering strategies and establish competitive winning solutions
• Serve as a knowledge resource to customers and partners using Company plant business unit technologies and solutions
• Provide progress reporting of the prospective projects to internal team to secure new project order
• Work collaboratively meet sales target s by meeting or exceeding key metrics for orders and account retention
• Execute effective time management skills in the field and able to perform “Discovery to Order” related work
• Learn and maintain awareness of safety, compliance and environmental practice
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with prior experience with power or gas related industries ideal candidates may have construction experience
• At least 15 years of relevant industry experience with local or International related firm
• Excellent Command of English with strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong business, commercial and technical aptitude with proven history of successes
• Account management, project planning and management skills required
• Excellent networking , interpersonal and influencing skills needed to communicate and command respect at all levels, manage in matrix environment and create network across diverse technical , cultural and language groups
• Pro-active, decisive and confident attitude
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• Ability and willingness to travel within territory, as required
• Willing to support periods of heavy work load especially related to active project tendering process
