The Company:
Our client is a global leader in the design and delivery of infrastructure, power and major engineering projects around the world. Their clients come to them for a wide range of advice, resources and skills - in engineering, maintaining infrastructure, managing construction, planning and strategic thinking.

The Role:
Role purpose:
To work as a team player in our BIM team, producing design packages for schemes.
The role will include research and development opportunities.

Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for the implementation of BIM design procedures and best practice on project and play an important role in the technical success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Production of CAD/BIM drawings for projects
• Provide design support throughout construction works
• Produce detailed Materials take-offs when required.
• Work as a member of the design team, being prepared to undertake all of the tasks supporting the design process and to contribute towards the departments approach to continuous improvement and utilisation of information technology
• Being prepared to undertake BIM and other training.
• Production of visualizations and animations
• Involvement in R&D

• All contract employees
• BIM Team

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Must be computer literate in Microsoft applications, Excel and Word
• 2D and 3D CAD experience necessary. A working knowledge of either Civil 3D or Plant 3D or Revit is required.
• Navisworks Manage experience desirable.
• A basic knowledge of BIM required as minimum
• A "Can Do" attitude
• Ideally have a knowledge of Utility Design
• A minimum of HNC in an engineering discipline desirable
• A willingness to learn new construction techniques is essential, any previous knowledge would be an advantage
