The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
• To support the delivery of current BIW projects and develop concepts for future BIW projects

• The CAD designer will report into an Engineer or directly to a Senior Engineer

• Accountable for the 3D and 2D design of components to the defined Product Design Specification or Task Description
• Ability to take an analytical and systematic approach to create optimal solutions to problems
• Ability to work within a team
• Responsible for developing and maintaining specialist technical knowledge/capability
• Excellent time management and self-organisational skills
• Motivated and enthusiasm for the luxury automotive sector

• Operates within an agreed vehicle feature/sub-system
• Accountable for identifying and escalating issues and risks to Engineer, Senior Engineer or Manager
• Responsibility to ensure factual and effective communication within all cross-function work teams

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Trained in CATIA V5 to automotive industry standard and methodologies and have experience of design and surface construction
• Use and experience of Icemsurf would be an advantage
• Appropriate experience working as a CAD Designer in the automotive industry
