The Role:
DPA Block Leader - Transit. Create and Maintain the Program Requirement list based on the Program assumption using the System Interface Chart and BOM. Review and Sign-off the Program Requirement list with D&R engineers, CAD and Full Service Suppliers for DPAs 0 and 1. Identify requirement assessors, Ensure completion of DPA requirements assessment and related studies for DPAs 0, 1. Consolidate all DPA assessments and related issues. Create a work plan to resolve all non-complaint geometry requirements to support V1 and V2 compatibility targets. Perform cross-Functional DPA studies to develop proposals / solutions to resolve geometric issues, as required. Escalate issues to Program and functional activities as required using escalation process. Determine the best total vehicle solution for geometric issues (Block Leaders do not resolve each and every geometric issue that arises, but focus largely on cross-Functional issues Level 2 & 3). Provide QOS metrics for DPA 0, 1. Communicate status.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, drive for results with minimum supervision
Vehicle Package experience
Engineering Degree

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
Digital Buck/Teamcenter experience essential. Knowledge of vehicle systems and part interfaces preferred, particularly IP
IP experience preferred
