The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
System owner responsible for Body Electronics systems for all vehicle variants.

Key Responsibilities
Delivery of Body Electronics systems (can unclude Electro-Mechanical systems) to meet all functional targets and all project requirements.
Technical responsibility for the Body Electronics, including documentation, release, testing and sign-off to meet the requirements of the Electrical Engineering (EE) Department
Managment of suppliers to meet project deliverables to achieve quality approval at note 1 status
Liaison with VW Group colleagues to share knowledge
Requirement to keep up to date with new legal and legislative requirements
Requirement to keep up to date with new technical developments in Body Electronics
Provide support to non-Engineering functions for Body Electronics

Electrical Engineering Degree or proven automotive experience.

Previous Experience

Ability to liaise at various levels across the company in different forums
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Flexible team player, able to liaise at all levels within the organistaion
Understanding of Company systems and processes
Dynamic and pro-active self starter able to work independently
Co-ordination and organisation skills
Good communication skills, written and verbal
German language skills would be advantageous
Significant advanced knowledge of : Design and development; Test and measurement; Engineering drawings; Software tools
Understanding of Product Emergence Process (PEP)
Knowledge and hands on experience of vehicle communications/archietecture network (e.g CAN, LIN, Flexray) and diagnostic tools (e.g IDEX, ODIS) is desirable
Conversance with Company systems and processes is highly desirable but not essential.
