The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To work as an integral part of the ‘Special Projects’ team, to coordinate the BoM and assist in the Programme Management activities of vehicle programmes within Special Projects.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
• Control and maintenance of the ERN database within Goldcrest plus continuous monitoring to maintain the currency of information for accurate statistical reporting.
• Responsible for the inception of new production and prototype part number records to Goldcrest, ensuring compliance to Standards.
• Expedient collation and distribution of ERN packages to downstream functions including, but not limited to Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Technical Publications and Parts and Service Operations.
• Data input in multiple BoMs from initial file set-up through all prototype build phases to production release.
• Regularly updating the MRD (material required date) and Target CMM date to drive the Engineering Timing Release Schedule (ETRS) used to support programme timing requirements.
• Support programme needs with the fulfilment of ad hoc engineering information requests.
• Control of PD ancillary documentation, including deviations and stop notes.
• Archiving PD based documentation to Intradoc ( electronic repository) ensuring compliance with local procedures, Ford procedures, GIS1,2 & 3, production liability and ‘Car for Life’ Policy to
ensure controlled and robust archive data.
• Compilation of reports and progress against agreed deliverables identified in AMPCS • Updating of the Vehicle Project Plan – VPP
• General Programme Management duties including some administration tasks. • Important to adhere to strict deadlines determined by the implementation of development program Gateways.
