The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

Specification and Change Control Analyst

Skills Required:
- Computer literate & proficient in all relevant business systems.
- Be numerate with a good grasp of Microsoft Office applications.
- Communicate well at all levels both verbally and in writing establishing good working relationships.
- Manage priorities, identify issues & solutions using own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference & achieve results.
- Demonstrate drive with a customer focused approach & good organisational skills & have the ability to multi-task; manage changing priorities whilst maintaining focus.
- Ability to perform well under pressure with high levels of responsibility.
- High level of self-motivation & determination & the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a small team and un-supervised.
- Flexible in approach to working to ensure that time differences with markets do not affect the communication processes.

Skills Preferred:
- Advanced knowledge of KD2000 Intermediate level of knowledge of CMMS3.

Experience Required:
- Lead the ongoing maintenance of KD Bill of Material for Company platforms, driven by Mainstream Engineering change control activities.
- Co-ordinate the content and issue of the KD Change Order package to KD territories.
- To represent KD at Company platforms Change Management meetings and cascade detail to KD Specs & Process personnel.
- Effectively interface with MP&L ECC dept.
- MP&L Production Control, PVT, Prod Dev ERS, and KD Process.

Experience Preferred:
- Create accurate KD Bills of Material in KD2000 by evaluating and reacting to Concerns & COINs, working within recognised time frame.
- Manage Running Change activities by maintaining the KD Concerns monitor.
- Use the KSpec Change Note to quantify the BOM changes & issue to the recognised circulation list on a timely basis.
- Ensure all BIW & Power train documentation is accurate i.e. reflects the current KD BOM and is issued to MP&L Production Control on a timely basis to minimise inventory & packing discrepancies.
- Monitor new parts are released to KD (FFL3 check in Falcon) and raise AIMs as required.
- Ensure CMMS is accurate :- Resolve any parts on GUFA.
- In statement & Out statements are timed in line with COINs & FFL1.
- Parts status (parts which are established to be KD last usage roll status from C to B)
- Keep Marker flag (used to suppress parts which should not be included on the suppliers schedule)Use KD OXO charts to confirm parts are associated with relevant SFI.
- React to BIW, Power train, Pack shop and Process queries and ensure route cause analysis is operated.
- Responsible for resolving CMMS part scheduling queries.
- Utilise the AIMs process to identify structuring issues, & monitor progress through to final resolution & close on a timely basis.
- Create weekly management reports for use by KD personnel (Kspec Usage report, Falcon)
- Responsible for resolving the KD2000 error reports : SFi link errors, IMBC, PARN.
- In conjunction with Process validate the accuracy of KD BOM vrs GSPAS on a rolling basis.
- Perform Claim investigation on specs claims and ensure robust claims closure, support weekly claims review meeting & monthly Liability Not Proven meeting as appropriate.

Education Required:
- Experience preferred continued: Utilise the Hand Amendment or Retro process to address known specification issues identified through claims investigation, late Engineering change, part structuring issues etc. and track activities on the KD Change Order monitor.
- Co-ordinate the Change Order package contents and issue to KD Territories.
- Develop new Change Order package processes, utilising improved communication media, which will be beneficial to the KD territories. Ensure the accuracy of the Operational Procedure Manual contents for Running Change & C/O package.
- Actively review & update locally created KD2000, CMMS & WERs User Guides so they reflect new learning or process / system changes. Sufficiently familiar with the Spec & Feature Change Control analyst roles & responsibilities to be able to provide absenteeism cover.
