The Company:
Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role
Manage a team of personnel at various levels and provide coaching and development in Bill of materials and related practices to design, validate and deliver robust and accurate specifications (Bill of Material structures in LCA, Prototype Bill, PR Codes etc.), following the Company PEP process and aligned to Company values.

Scope of the Role
- To interface with internal and external customer and suppliers, managing and satisfying their requirements on self and team.
- To define, plan and manage the budget and resource for team members to meet project deliverables.
- To provide system and process leadership to the team and keep up to date with innovations and changes in the industry, the Group and Company systems.
- To manage and develop team members to meet company key goals and business objectives.
- To communicate BoM status for all areas of responsibility to key business forums.
- Interacting with CAD Management, IS and other areas, develop and maintain effective ways of working, to enable the business to do the required data checks (DMU) and pre-series builds (prototypes and simulators).

Qualifications
- Degree in an Engineering discipline or substantial proven Engineering and BoM experience.
- Advanced IT skills

Experience
- Engineering experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally.
- Self Starter with the ability to motivate and manage a team in a challenging project driven role.
