The Company:
A luxury Automotive OEM based in the West Midlands. After continued growth & success there are a number of new exciting engineering projects underway and we currently have requirements for experienced engineering professionals.

The Role:
To coordinate press enquiries, press car loans and transportation and provide accurate and efficient administrative/accounting support to the department.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks
•Respond daily to media and public enquiries, escalating media enquiries to the appropriate member of the PR team in a timely fashion.
•Arrange car loans to media, opinion formers and VIP’s and to support product placement, in the UK and abroad, including coordinating the most cost effective and appropriate form of transport and ensuring all driver declarations and release forms are completed accurately and within the deadline.
•Efficiently maintain the press fleet diary, flagging issues or concerns. Liaison with Press Garage to ensure cars prepared thoroughly for each loan – highlighting any special requirements i.e. category of prep for each loan
•Detailed travel arrangements for management, team and media guests attending media events, car launches, motor shows globally
•Assist with the hosting of media guests including assistance in organisation of media events and car launches globally and assistance with general event arrangements
•Purchase and distribution of charitable items within budget using internal purchasing system (DCS)
•Respond to day-to-day requests, ad-hoc duties, general administration, prioritising and managing own workload and efficiently maintaining message logs
•Purchase consumables/media services and process all departmental invoices, including raising purchase orders and receipting invoices using company MRP system (Goldcrest)
•Distribute internal and external post including arrangement of courier services
•Provide cover for VIP and Main reception as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience in a fast paced team environment would be an advantage but is not essential
•Able to use all Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel and Word.
•Excellent organisational skills.
•Ability to multi task.
•Process driven with a good attention to detail.
•Excellent telephone manner.
•Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
•Excellent interpersonal skills, must be able to communicate well with a wide range of people from different parts of the business
