The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
The role of a BRM is to engage with our business colleagues to understand their objectives and the impact on IT strategy. A BRM should be a credible and influential advisor to our business colleagues. Working to establish needs, identify opportunities and put in place innovative solutions that meet our client’s vision. Through business partnering, they ensure the strategic future for IT is mapped out, aligned with the business strategy and communicated effectively, so that IT delivers measurable value. To develop a deep understanding of the assigned line of business, both in terms of our client’s business strategy and industry best practices. To develop meaningful relationships with the business colleagues so as to be viewed as a trusted advisor. The BRM should develop the business area IT vision. The BRM should introduce innovation to bring about a transformational change in business performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Engage with the functional business teams to understand their objectives and strategy.
• Builds internal and external relationships, enabling cross-functional working and effective partnerships
• Create an IT vision for the specific business areas, which can be built up into the wider IT vision for the business function and gain buy in from the business leadership.
• Use a network of partners and peers to bring innovation solutions and best practice ideas into the business areas. Conduct research activities outside of our client and develop a perspective on good-practice.
• Assess and provide oversight of IT capability and effectiveness within the area of responsibility in order to identify opportunities for improvement and solutions development.
• Provide a point of contact for IT
• Develop strong, supportive, teams and ensures communication is open, direct and clear motivate. Organise team members to deliver effectively and efficiently towards the objectives of the business.
• Balances business needs and customer priorities (internal or external)
• This order is for a day rate. When timesheets are completed, contractors should only be entering 1 hour a day. If any deviate from this, please reject

1) Important Financial Services is part of the experience we're looking for
2) Excellent stakeholder management
3) Strong experience in Programme Management and Business Analysis is essential

Excellent communication skills
Strong influencing skills at all levels of management
Strong experience in leading IT Strategy/roadmap for change/Projects & Programmes for success
Strong experience in engaging with Corporate Finance / Financial Services business environment
