The Company:
Our client is a large multi-national organization which explores, develops, produces and markets crude oil, gas and sulfur. They pride themselves in conducting operations in accordance with the world–class safety and environmental standards.

The Role:
The Brownfield Execution Manager will be responsible for managing the brownfield scope of the project. The brownfield scope is estimated at $280MM value and could grow to approximately $350MM with additional scope that is currently being considered. The brownfield EPC contractor is expected to be Houston based, fabrication expected to be performed in both Louisiana and Angola and offshore installation commencing in late 2012 and completing in early 2014. The Stage 2 Project is currently in CPDEP phase 4 with an expected completion date of 3Q 2014. The Stage 2 scope includes the installation of the new platform to be installed in 380 feet of water in Area B of Angola. The platform scope consists of fabricating an 8,500 tonne deck, 5,500 tonne jacket and a bridge connection to the existing South platform. The deck will be fabricated in South Korea. The jacket will be fabricated in Lobito, Angola. The new platform will be bridge connected to the existing South platform. The scope requires significant brownfield modifications to be made to the South, North and Lomba platforms to route the oil and gas flow through the new facilities and eliminate routine flaring in the area. The scope also includes the fabrication and installation of the pigging and gas measurement facilities for the CRX pipeline. The Brownfield Execution Manager will: • Manage the brownfield project team members (engineers, procurement, QA/QC, HES, Operations, etc) • Manage the Brownfield EPC contractor • Be responsible for the HES, quality, cost and schedule performance of the brownfield scope

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Significant experience managing offshore type project work Project Management: with experience in supervising personnel, managing EPC contractors and interfacing with other groups. Experience with large brownfield projects a plus. Experience with managing work in West Africa a plus. Safety: Experience with incident and injury free concepts, acting as a project safety leader, knowledge of Corporate SID requirements and trained in Corporate OE program is desired. Team Effectiveness: Experience in establishing team work plans, priorities, roles and responsibilities. Recognized as providing positive team environment. Allows people to contribute their best and fosters learning and mentoring culture. Ability to interface and work effectively with diverse groups and cultures, including project teams and staff support groups.
