The Role:
The Brownfield Process Engineer is required to be full-time, located in the offices of the Brownfield EPC Contractor in Aberdeen. During the current Detailed Design project phase the Brownfield Process Engineer may be required to travel to London to address interfaces with the Greenfield Project team based in west London. As the Project moves through fabrication and onshore commissioning the Brownfield Process Engineer may be required to travel to the fabricator’s location. Offshore work may also be required in order to assist with both commissioning and start-up.

Position Overview and Responsibilities:

• Manage the Brownfield EPC Contractor in execution of the Brownfield Process Engineering scope of the Project from Detailed Design through to Commissioning;
• In conjunction with the Facilities Process Engineering Co-ordinator address Process-specific interfaces with other Project personnel and project stakeholders, as appropriate;

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• As a minimum be Degree qualified Chartered Process Engineer with recent practice of Process Engineering and proven experience of related Brownfield Projects;
• Knowledge and experience of facilities design incorporating detailed knowledge of North Sea oil & gas production facilities;
• Hands-on experience in commissioning and start-up of offshore oil and gas facilities;
• Knowledge and experience of production operations;
• Prior experience working within a client surveillance team role.

Candidate Profile:

• The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record and ability to integrate and be part of and add to the momentum of a highly motivated multi-disciplined team.
• The role will require proven communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interface at all levels with key internal stakeholders and external contractors.
• The successful candidate will be expected to have a good perspective of the project context and lifecycle, be energetic
