The Company:
A major oil and gas operator is seeking a Brownfield Process Engineer to work on a world scale project

The Role:
-Support the detailed design of all process engineering deliverables
-Support development of block diagrams, PFD's, P&ID's; size of major process equipment; heat and mass balances
-Support system modeling for oil and gas production facilities including preparing, reviewing, and documenting Hysys model files as needed
-Support commissioning and startup teams and troubleshoots
-Be a memeber of the multi-disciplince team responsible for developing detailed engineering deliverables
-Support costs estimates, schedule reviews, and VIPS as required
-Support the Engineering Manager in the application of all aspects of the Process
-Foster an environment of high performance, IIF, top quartile capital stewardship, exemplary decision quality, strong partnership behaviors, and delivery of the business expectations

-This psition will be based initially in Houston with frequent trips to EPCI's engineering offices in Paris, France and Luanda, Angola. The position may transition to rotational support at engineering or fabrication sites within Angola and offshore during brownfield construction and start-up

-Experienced with upstream production facilities. Develops simulations of processing facilities. Develops Process Design basis for small sized facilities
-Experience in the design of Oil and Gas facilities; good multi-discipline working knowledge of offshore oil and gas design practices preferred

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
-BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
-Working knowledge of Process Hazard Analysis
-Experienced in working with HES & OPS specialist and taking a lead role in HAZOPS and reliability studies. Good understanding of safe design, fabrication, and installation practices
-Ability to work through conceptual, FEED, detailed design, and construction

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
MS or advanced degree desireable
