The Company:
A Super Major Oil and Gas Operator

The Role:
• Deputises for Brownfield Delivery Manager or Brownfield Project Engineer as required.
• Provides HSE Leadership and work with the contractor & client's team to deliver fully expectations on HSE.
• Ensure that the work is carried out In accordance with Industry and Company procedures and Specifications
• Mentor and develop the National Commissioning engineer.
• SPA for coordination & alignment of Brownfield Offshore/Onshore/Subsea Pipelines engineering, construction & commissioning activities from planning/preparation through to final handover
Organise & coordinate all internal and external engineering interfaces/issues with Contractor, Client Site Team, Operations, Vendors etc
During Commissioning phase coordinate the SH activities. Role has prime responsibility for Discipline HCP’s, tri-party walkdowns, and system handovers to Operations
Monitor Contractors technical performance and advise / direct to ensure compliance with Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost expectations

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written/presentation) in English language.
• Ability to work on own initiative who rises to the challenge of bringing together different groups with differing opinions & reaching concensus
• Good inter-personal skills.
• Proven ability to communicate on all levels
• Logical thinker
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and project schedules
• Fit and healthy

An Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications / experience, ideally piping or mechanical
Substantial experience of similar roles in oil and gas industry, you will be an experienced project engineer (with a solid discipline) with experience of coordinating commissioning activities who demonstrates good communication and team ethos skills. Ideally experience in a Brownfield environment, and subsea pipelines commissioning would be of benefit.
