Is a leading Automotive manufacturer with a reputation for outstanding quality the world over. With demand increasing and an upturn in production, there is a need to bring further skills into the business to deliver on current and future projects.

The Role:
Main Purpose of the Role

This role reports directly to the functional manager for component safety validation (EK/VT), within the safety and validation team (EK/V). This team in turn is part of the body and trim department (EK). The holder’s primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of built interior assemblies to test end users, to an agreed timing plan and specification.

Scope of the Role

- Delivery of EK test parts on time and to specification.
- Maintaining the plan for delivery of EK test parts
- Liaison between end users and manufacturing resource to ensure test property builds are to specification
- Responsible for ensuring parts are delivered, correct and secure to enable property build
- Coordination of various supply streams;

1. Base parts / substrates – new, c/o, platform, group.
2. Trimmed parts.
3. Fixings.
4. Covers.
5. Fixings.

- Creation of a ‘passport’ for each property built, outlining the level of build and any concessions.
- Responsible for reporting on status to customers and project team.


Qualifications/Experience

- Experience of interior and/or seats engineering.
- Experience of working in a manufacturing/logistics environment .
- Organisational skills and planning.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivational.
- Use of software tools such as MS office and BY logistics systems .
