The Role:
This role is responsible for the provision of management information to the company Operational and Management Teams to support performance management and decision making. The successful candidate will also ensure that accurate business assumptions are incorporated in accounting and forecasting processes.

Duties & Responsibilities to include;
• Regularly interact with Operational Teams to develop Budgets and robust monthly forecast updates. In order to do this the individual will develop a thorough understanding of the Business, key contractual arrangements and the key cost drivers
• Provide information and highlight key issues to Operational Teams and Management on a routine and adhoc basis to allow them to better understand and manage costs
• Analyse key variances from Budget and previous month’s forecast and communicate these effectively to Management
• Be aware of commercial arrangements relating to asset area of responsibility and ensure these are correctly reflected in forecasts, budgets, and plans and are followed appropriately
• Prepare analysis and commentary for Quarterly Partner Reports
• Prepare and present Forecasts and Budgets to partners at OCMs
• Collate monthly value of work done (VOWD) estimates and critically review accrual levels to ensure that monthly financial reporting is accurate and reasonably represents the underlying business
• Provide corporate reporting team with understanding of costs and activity
• Provide support to more junior members of the Business Analysis Team
• Preparation through to sign off of half yearly PRT accrual justification
• Provide input into annual budget process and plan updates

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Significant oil and gas industry experience
- Experience in a similar role for a minimum of 2 years
- Ideally educated to degree standard or equivalent

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience of working with Oracle 11i, ADI, Vision Excel add-in, PowerPoint and Maximo will be an advantage although training will be given as required
- Recognised Professional Accountancy Qualification
