The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in FEED (Front End Engineering Design) Stage.

The Role:
The primary function of this position is to implement business analysis services in compliance with the Client’s Solution Development Process.

Key responsibilities of this role include:
• Elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for the implementation of, or changes to, business processes and information systems.
• Contribute to the successful architecture, design and delivery of information systems.
• Follow Client requirements management methodology.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to elicit requirements.
• Identify and document business and systems processes.
• Identify and document user requirements.
• Identify and document possible solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and document test plans - as required.
• Facilitate project stakeholders through the system selection and implementation process.
• Follow the Client Solution Development Process methodologies.
• Participate as team member on project teams.
• Documentation of business requirements and specifications.
• Modern requirements capture and visual modelling techniques including:
o Business Process modelling
o Use Case/Scenario analysis,
o Visual modelling
o Architectural frameworks such as TOGAF
o Use of CASE tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect).
• Requirements Management (HP Quality Centre / HP Application Lifecycle Management).
• Ensure delivered systems meet business process, functional and performance expectations.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Degree in IT or related field, or relevant experience.
• IIBA- or ISEB-recognised Business Analysis accreditation, or similar, desirable.
• Excellent at engaging and dealing with people at all levels in an organisation.
• Solid experience in facilitating workshops.
• Familiar with elicitation and documentation of business processes.
• Excellent consultancy skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Have the ability to research and evaluate product information.
• Conduct detailed analysis to ensure best cost and performance options are considered, and recommend best practice design alternatives to systems and project teams.
• Demonstrate ability to define and implement new systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of the oil and gas industry would be an advantage.
• Experience working with a broad set of business areas including Exploration, Development, Projects, Producing Operations and Corporate Services.
