The Company:
Our Client is a global Energy Leader with a strong commitment to Honest and Ethical Business Practices within the Oil and Gas Industry. Our Client operates as an independent energy company. It has four segments: Oil and Gas, Syncrude, Energy Marketing, and Chemicals. The Oil and Gas segment explores, develops, and produces crude oil, natural gas, and related products.

The Role:
Safety - Role-models compliance with HSE policy. Drives compliance in all areas of responsibility. Works across the business to highlight potential issues and develop appropriate solutions and policies

Leadership - Manages and coaches people effectively. Provides clarity regarding expectations and supports teams and individuals to achieve these. Role models Client’s values at all times and encourages others to do the same. Readily accepts accountability and insists on it from others

Financial - Has budgetary responsibility for one or more areas and manages teams to ensure the delivery of budgeted outputs and costs. Considers the commercial viability of all proposals in terms of cost, benefit and risk, and utilises resources to best effect

Technical/Functional – Gathers, ranks and analyses Business requirements. Manages project teams to povide fit for purpose solutions and services to meet business’s short term and long term objectives. Prepares all project documentation inline with the standards set.

Collaboration - Works collaboratively and ensures that all teams demonstrate the willingness and ability to collaborate with others to achieve results via networking, knowledge sharing and joint problem solving

Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Ensures that project disciplines are adhered to. Encourages learning and innovation by reviews and the effective utilisation of knowledge databases

Capability Development - Identifies and utilises opportunities to develop people through well-considered work placements and formal interventions. Looks to enhance organisational capability wherever possible and demonstrates a personal commitment to lifelong learning

People Processes - Manages people processes effectively and in a way that demonstrates commitment to the spirit of such processes. Presents related activities commercially and positively, and challenges non-compliance. Encourages Line Managers and individuals to engage fully with related activities and delivers outputs in a timely fashion

Performs other duties, completes additional tasks and supports ad hoc projects as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Degree qualified or equivalent
Experience in Project management
Project Management certification or equivalent
EDRMS Training or Certification

Number of years of experience in managing concurrent projects
Depth of experience as a business analyst working with one or more document management systems – preferably Livelink.
Depth of understanding of the principles and practise of Information Management.
Substantial experience in IT – preferably within the oil and gas industry.
Excellent business and technical analysis skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
