Multi-national Oil company

The Role:
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Collect data on manpowere, costs, time writing, budgets and business improvement. The data will need to be extracted from various sources such as SAP, project reports, project plans, budgets & databases.
- Check for consistency; identify gaps and areas for improvement. Present data in formats suitable for follow up and communication.
For instance set up suitable graphs and diagrams which allow budget holders and project managers, budget holders and time writers.
- Maintain and improve the systems for manpower management (excel sheets and database), and support the annual resource review process.
- Maintain project portfolio overview on behalf of the Integration manager, and resource management against the project portfolio.
- Support Business Improvement Lead in collecting information and data as required for the business improvement initiatives, and support preparations and facilitation of workshops and other initiatives.

KEY CHALLENGES:
- Specify in 2-3 statements identified key challenges associated with the job.
- Ability to work with different sources of information - excel, database, SAP, budget information.
- Ability to combine, download and extract information and combine the information and see differences, trends, gaps and areas for improvement.
- Communication with different departments. Work in multidiscipline working environment and act as a team player.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- Finance professional on MSc or BSc level, 1-3 years work experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of cost, budget, plan in project management.
- Data handling, reporting, data analysis.
- Excellent skills in MS Office tools, especially in EXCEL and database.
- Experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage.
- Customer focus, ownership, ability to work independantly.
- Ability to deal with tight deadlines and changing requirements within the multi-disciplined project team.
