The Company:
Our Client is one of the largest independent oil and gas exploration and production companies in Europe.

The Role:
To provide commercial and economic analysis and support for the clients Ghana assets.

Role Responsibilities;
Undertake discounted cash flow analysis of all of the clients assets; communicate results and analysis to stakeholders
Lead long-term business planning (budget) commercial work in BU, coordinating with planning and finance teams
Provide economic support for BU exploration team and new business development strategy
Prepare economic and commercial sections of Asset Value Plan(s)
Provide gas pricing modelling support and analysis
Develop option model to assist in future gas nomination strategy
Support crude oil marketing team with hydrocarbon allocation analysis as required
Provide economic support and insightful, quality analysis for commercial decisions, negotiations and submissions to Government bodies
Participate in economics and commercial discussions with Government of Ghana entities as required
Prepare and deliver economic analysis for senior management
Support Corporate Tax as required
Gain exposure to operations and how commercial support technical functions in day to day decision making
Gain exposure to and participate in commercial negotiations and the project management of an agreement, including managing stakeholders, drafting of agreements and the role played by support functions in delivery of a final document.

Educational requirements;
Educated to degree level, preferably Business / Commerce / Finance or Science / Engineering Degree
At least five years E&P economic modelling experience

Skills;
Highly skilled in Excel modelling, particularly with regard to cash flow analysis
Proficient using Palantir modelling software or able to demonstrate ability to learn quickly
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Excellent analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
Skilled in all basic Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
