Our client, a leader in the midstream sector, seeks a Business Analyst to work in Calgary, Alberta on a contract basis.

The Role:
As a Business Analyst you will report to the Management System Specialist. The ideal candidate should have a Quality Management background and be familiar with management systems such as ISO 9000 standards.
This position would require you to focus on four main areas:
Document & Record Control processes:
- Provide assistance in improving, managing and providing support of the current document control procedures including control, quality checks, approval and maintenance of the EDMS system and CSD master record lists;
Management Processes:
- Assess gaps within processes and provide assistance including procedure writing;
- General internal communication of MS items to teams;
- Coordinate Quality meetings and provide minutes;
- Assist operational processes creating monthly reports;
- Assist in annual management reviews of the CSD-MS to ensure its on-going suitability;
Resource Processes:
- Provide support in the implementation of defined structure into learning system and coordinating the maintenance of Curriculum and reporting;
- Developing and providing training material for the management system as well as operational processes;
Measurement, Analysis & Improvement Processes:
- Assistance on preparing and conducting internal audits.
- Assistance with development of electronic system checklists and reporting to meet all Regulatory, TC, and CSD requirements;
- Facilitating and Tracking of the completion of Quality Plans and completion of Audit findings including gathering data for status reports;
- Coordinating the effective resolution of non-conformities and employee suggestions (triage , validating root cause, running reports , and following up with Notification owners on completion);
- Support in developing reasonable targets/indicators for operational processes.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Oil & Gas process experience along and Technical writing expertise
- Quality professional status or equivalent (process development, procedure development, audit, measurement, six sigma, management systems etc.)
Education/Experience:
- Must have a relevant University degree or Technical Diploma and ideally four or more years of related experience;
- Proficient at tools: EDMS (Electronic Document Management Systems), SAP and modules associated with Quality/Non-conformance/Incidents/Internal audit/Plant Maintenance;
- SharePoint as a collaboration/document management tool and as a website publishing tool.
