The Company:
The client is a leader within the Automation and Control Systems field with operations in 100 countries worldwide. They specialise in providing integrated solutions to the Transmission and Distribution and Oil & Gas industry with projects offshore and overseas.

The Role:
As Business Developer for the Low Voltage Connections business you will be responsible for generating incremental business by working with the external sales team and the Connections Product Manager. The growth will come from targeting and developing new accounts that will grow market share through specification and by developing a strategic relationship with OEM’s, Panel Builders, Design Consultants and Distributors.

As a Business Developer your main duties will involve:

• Generating incremental business and developing new accounts to a pre-defined target driven plan
• Proactively supporting the sales teams to penetrate new accounts
• Working in close relation with the Connections Production Manager
• Raising the awareness and profile of the Brand for LVP.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Business Developer you will have:

• Previous External Sales experience in the Connections market and an excellent understanding of connectors for DIN rails.
• Significant product knowledge of Connection Technologies, Applications and Industry requirements
• Customer focus
