BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR – PERTH, WA – STAFF POSITION –
$$ ATTRACTIVE / NEGOTIABLE + BONUS – GROWING, SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS

Think ahead 12 months from now. You’ve successfully tendered for and won a series of upstream Oil and Gas developments and you are negotiating your second salary increase with the Western Australia Director for Oil and Gas. You’ve seized the opportunity to grow the upstream business and you’ve grown your own department by hiring and managing the best sales staff in Perth to hit the company’s growth targets with the assistance of a pool of Technical Specialists and Business Development professionals within the company’s global staff network .

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful and dynamic Business Development Director to join a steady and successful Oil and Gas business in Perth, WA. The successful person will have strong experience with Upstream Oil and Gas / EPCM project developments from a consultancy background and will be expected to deliver growth of the company’s Oil and Gas consulting, engineering and construction capability in Western Australia.

A thorough overview of the role will be supplied upon request. A concise overview of the role is as follows:

- Contribute to winning and delivering onshore EPCM Oil and Gas projects with a focus on Western Australia and NT.
- Lead the business development for major projects and convert opportunities into new work contracts, achieving sales targets
- Client relationship management of selected key clients in WA
- Identify Oil & Gas industry client needs and positions.
- Prepare client and market specific plans for growth goals, resource requirements, areas for skill development and potential investments
- Establish annual sales and revenue goals as part of the annual planning process and develop and organise capture plans to achieve these sales goals.
- Develop strategies to increase the Company’s share of the WA market and meet profit goals whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with operations to develop proposal budgets, estimates and schedules

The key / essential requirements for this role are as follows:

- Circa 15 years of relevant experience with an Oil and Gas consultancy, Oil and Gas service provider, or Oil and Gas company
- A strong understanding of Upstream / Midstream Oil and Gas processes (Oil discovery to Pre FEED, FEED etc)
- Exceptional / demonstrative Client account management or oil and gas industry business development experience at management or executive level.
- Some understanding of design, construction, management and/or delivery of major oil and gas and infrastructure projects
