The Company:
Our client is a UK based company with an increasing workload the LNG import and gas storage markets. As a result of continued growth we are now looking to apooint a Business Development Executive to work out of the London office and help in maximising both short and long term sales opportunities.

The Role:
You will be part of the commercial team based in London which is responsible for valuing and structuring new opportunities and agreements

To be succesful in this role you will be competant in the following areas

• To structure contracts consistent with commercial objectives
• Identify and develop business opportunities to add value through reviews of agreements and the relevant market
• Develop and update pricing methodology for third party capacity transactions
• To negotiate and close agreements for capacity sales, LNG purchases, gas sales and other structures
• To identify key value elements associated with current and potential transactions, and outline profitable solutions

In this role you will;

• Take the lead in identifying potential value added opportunities through review of agreements and the relevant market
• Maintain and update capacity pricing methodology, and produce relevant inputs to specific pricing activities
• Valuation of new opportunities and associated agreements
• Develops strategy and screening mechanism for new business opportunities
• Support agreement negotiation, taking lead in relevant areas of expertise
• Takes lead in developing deal contractual structures that maximise value within an agreed risk envelope
• Provides cover for absence and support for the Commercial Manager, as required

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A degree or equivalent in Economics, Engineering or a Business related topic
Developing & managing customer commercial relationships
Excellent understanding of the UK gas market and value drivers
Commercial acumen
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
