The Role:
Main Responsibilities
As Business Development Executive you are responsible for delivering the financial targets set in the Company’s Strategy Document. You will achieve this by demonstrating a high level of leadership and organisational skills within the Business Development Function.
You will define short, medium and long-term business development goals, communicate and delegate these to team members, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Key Objectives
The role has the following key objectives:
•Produce detailed Sales Plan outlining how the targets will be achieved
•Generate new business for the company whilst growing the company’s profile and reputation;
•To develop and maintain Company’s CRM system in line with all sales activity;
•In conjunction with the business development team members identify and drive new business activity in line with Company strategy;
•Prospect and deliver significant new business;
•Build and manage a pipeline to continually generate new opportunities;
•Conduct sales presentations and prepare proposals for customers;
•Develop product knowledge across all Company products/services;
•Meet and exceed monthly quotas.
Further duties will include:
•Manage key relationships within new and existing accounts to ensure account retention and expansion;
•Liaise with the Managing Director and other board members regarding sales targets and revenue generated;
•Liaise with other departments to discuss projects, time lines and quotations;
•Produce business activity reports, board reports, sales visit report, and other relevant reports;
•Comply with Company’s and client policies, procedures and standards.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Experience of business development experience within the energy or industrial sector.
•Strong communication skills with a proven track record for prospecting and closing new business.
•Strong record of success through developing business opportunities and consistently exceeding targets.
•Familiarity with software products for the Oil & Gas market
