The Role:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Business Development
- Establish BD roadmap for management review and for ExCom / BOD approval.
- Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities that are aligned with the corporate plan, secure projects of those potential and existing clients.
- Develop and lead implementation of all business development strategic plans including but not limited to specific project approaches, market penetration strategies, partnership / JV strategies, marketing strategies etc.
- Conduct management review and pre-bid screening activities for individual tender.
- Establish the relationship with new potential clients and maintain strong relationship with the existing, ensure that their interests are protected
and looked after during and beyond the project period.
- Ensure overall client satisfaction at all time.
• Department Management
- Develop and effectively manage the department budget, manpower and ensure smooth teamwork and enhance on department productivity.
- Establish the Business Development operation manual and associated procedures.
- Define and manage to achieve the Key Performance Indicator of the department
- Develop the training plan and undertake supervision role.
- Prepare department reports / presentation for the Management and corporate. Facilitate the establishment of the corporate Business Plan,
Planning & Budgeting guideline.
- Ensure effective implementation of QA system, ERP system etc.
• Business Intelligence / Marketing / Customer Relations
- Manage and enhance the business development intelligence system for defining of potential opportunities, effective analysis of risks /
competitors / pros and cons, support the preparation of strategic and business plans, forecasting of future market and business trend and
support the decision making of the Management as required.
- Maintain and enhance good relationship with existing and potential clients regarding business opportunities.
- Continuously enhance on the company awareness though the enhancement of the marketing materials such as brochure, website, profile DVD,
presentation etc., effective advertisements and business development activities such as exhibition and networking participation.
- Ensure positive perception of the company image and reputation.
• Partnership / JV Management
- Identify and pursue potential strategic partners to enhance the business opportunities and maintain relationship with the existing partners,
- jointly cooperate with those partners to identify and boost the opportunities for the company.
- Provide the commercial support i.e. the preparation of MOU, Pre-bid, JV agreements to ascertain the security of the relationship.
