Our client is a leading O&G Services company with office in Qatar.

The Role:
Business Developer

The commercial department is accountable for overall sales achievements worldwide, in order to maximise sales growth and optimise profits. The department consists of a Commercial Manager and Area Managers. Their global Business Development team consists of 25 people based worldwide.

Your role
You will be responsible for a specific market segment and/or countries within the Middle East Oil & Gas industry. Through proactivity and enthusiasm, you will convincingly ensure clients that our client is the best and safest choice in the industry. Business development staff realise sales and margin targets to achieve their goals in a manner which complies with the clients Core Values: Technological Excellence, Professional Excellence, Safety and Team Spirit. You will stay closely involved with the Operations department to ensure Customer Satisfaction. As a Business Developer you will report to the Country Manager Qatar.

Daily activities
• Manage your portfolio of accounts and prospective accounts by pro-actively arranging regular visits
• Be on top of the game; ensure that all your prospects and existing customers have a high level of satisfaction of our service
• Going the extra mile to get a contract awarded
• Lead your sales process and take full responsibility of your sales projects and clients (CRM)
• Involve and co-operate with other departments to make a deal or to improve operations
• Break into new markets / countries and reach new clients to increase sales
• Leading and participating in initiatives for the capture of new business
• Ensure that new product ideas are quantified and reported to the Innovations department

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
We ask
• Master’s degree (desireable not essential), preferably with a technical and/or commercial background
• 5+ years of relevant working experience
• Experience working with EPC or Oil Field Services company within the Middle East is essential
• Proven track record of various successful business development experiences within a relevant working environment
• Excellent communication and influencing skills in English, other languages are a pré
• An assertive and proactive attitude towards achieving targets, objectives and new clients
• Self-motivator towards continuous development and personal improvement
• Willingness to work hard, regular travel and occasionally work outside office hours
