The Company:
Our Client is an International Company involved in the supply of Energy globally. Their Operations cover Exploration, Production and Downstream and at present they have projects in over 25 Countries worldwide.
In Australia they are involved in one of the Country's largest LNG Projects, including both Gas and Condensate which is currently in Execution Stage.

The Role:
For our client we are looking for a Project Delivery Principal to join the Business Management System (BMS) team to develop and maintain a fit-for-purpose project controls framework which will enable clear fact based decision making. As part of the BMS Management team, the successful candidate will also work closely with a number of internal stakeholders and take ownership for the development, implementation and maintenance of the fully integrated Business Management System Integrated Master Schedule (BMS IMS)

Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Lead a team to manage all aspects of the BMS teams project performance and providing PM guidance and direction as required
• Support the BMS team to achieve optimal and timely deployment of the asset by collecting and reporting on BMS KPI’s.
• Provide PM training to the wider BMS team by providing training on PM methodology, tools and templates to an business appropriate standard and,
• Assist the GM Corporate Management Systems to transform the current BMS team operating model by implementing changes in roles, responsibilities, competency requirements, behaviour and culture.
• Assuming primary responsibility for the following process related capabilities – BMS implementation project and project management
• Reviewing and analysing the existing project controls reporting framework to identify areas for improvement and then implementing a fully integrated BMS project reporting progress framework containing the different PM elements.
• Leading and developing a project delivery team utilising a globally recognised project management methodology
• Providing project management support to the domain project managers, process owners and key stakeholders for BMS content development
• Educating the domain sponsors of the importance of develop PM strategies aligned to the BMS team as a means of delivering BMS content in a timely manner.
• Develop and strengthening the existing project management relationships with key domains involved specifically related to the operational readiness initiatives.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent essential
• Minimum 13 years professional experience
• Expert understanding of globally recognised project management methodology (e.g. PMBOK, Prince 2)
• 10 years of demonstrable experience implementing project management and /or project controls in a demanding in a dynamic, demanding environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Demonstrable knowledge of BMS and business process implementation projects
• Structured work approach and good organisational skills
• Deep understanding of the application of how project management methodologies and change management are applied to BMS/ Information Management projects.
• Working knowledge of Oil and Gas sector as an operator
