Electrification Products division

ABB offers a full range of technologies across the electrical value chain from substation to the point of consumption, enabling safer more reliable power flow.
Digital and connected innovations to improve the reliability and efficiency for low- and medium-voltage electrical installations, including EV infrastructure, solar inverters, modular substations, distribution automation, switchgear, measuring and sensing devices, control products, including KNX systems designed to integrate and automate a building's lighting, ventilation, heating, and security, wiring accessories, enclosures and cabling systems, data communication networks, and power protection

Main Accountabilities:

X4 roles with role rotation to give a good overall understanding of the whole sales support operations

* Order Entry: To accurately enter all customer orders in to the SAP system
* Customer Service: customer pricing records in SAP. Phone KPI's, customer returns, sales order backlog, invoice queries and stock levels of non-stock products. Listen to customer and clearly communicate messages. Route cause analysis and continuous improvement of key customer service processes
* Technical Support: To provide technical support by phone, fax, e-mail and assist in face-to-face training of customers in the use of and applications for LV products
* Inventory control and support on business wide projects.




Sales Order Entry
* Enter all customer orders in SAP on the day of receipt.
* Ensure order entry accuracy rate of 98%
* Effectively manage pending or queried sales order lines and chase daily.
* Enter pricing issues on customer purchase orders in the status report on lvp.connect
* Build relationships with allocated customers.
* Manage and progress the 'orders on stop' file daily.
* Ensure all filing is completed daily
* Run V.02 report three times per day.
* Ensure all phone calls are answered. KPI target - <2% of calls lost.
* Investigate all 'pricing' invoice queries to their root cause and own the solution necessary to permanently resolve
* Submit GB/IE Workflows as required.
* Work as a 'Buddy' to other team members
Customer Service
* Specific Responsibilities include:
* Manage entry and accuracy of customer pricing records in SAP whilst adhering to SOX rules
* Ensure all credits and invoices are raised in accordance with LVP DOA + SOX rules
* Maintain phone KPI's, customer returns, sales order backlog, invoice queries and stock levels of non-stock products.
* Listen to customer feedback and management directives, decipher and clearly communicate messages and actions to team.
* Route cause analysis and continuous improvement of key customer service processes.
* Provide training on key customer service processes.
Technical Support
* Maintain a KPI of 95% calls answered on the Technical Support Hotline phone number, per working day
* Respond to e-mails sent to the Technical Support team within 2 working days
* Inspect & process products returned for warranty issues
* Present training courses in house to customers on technical product features
* Use LV Connect customer database to identify sales leads to external engineers
* Use LV Connect customer database to send out quotations over £2000 net value
* Maintain the archive library of ABB and incorporated business catalogues
* Send technical catalogues out to customers on request via LV Connect workflow
* Keep up to date with product knowledge by means of e-learning, Factory training and industry portals such as Voltimum

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
5 GCSE's min grade 4
* SAP knowledge
* Good IT skills (MS office, Excel, Word, Lotus notes)
* Good telephone manner
* Ability to work to deadlines
