The Role:
The Business Process Analysts - Operations maintains detailed knowledge of the company business processes within the area of plan to pay process and work order management. This position is considered as power user in business process and procedures and its application in SAP.
Primarily the requirement is to provide sustainable support to the wider business delivering the following:
•Maintaining the cohesiveness for all end to end processes regarding work order management
•Delivering the education of the end to end business process and the appropriate reports available
•Ensuring integration with ESCS, Finance, Operations, and SAP support
Maintaining compliance metrics and acting to rectify divergence.Work on continuous improvement
•Provide analysis of business process activities and identify opportunities for improvement
•Prioritising work to address issues and delivering solutions to them in accordance with all stakeholders needs.
•Understands how process transcend department boundaries and impact other functions in the organization
•Identify process/procedure changes to measurably improve overall process performance
•Works with business stakeholders and business process owners to clarify and ensure linkage between system and business process benefit
•Works with other process owners and business leads to assess cross functional process & performance
•Provides continuous training, regularly assesses end user competency and provides directive for raising levels.
•Develops training materialand keeps it current
•Determines SAP system functional enhancement requirements with cost benefit analysis
•Ensure all new processes and procedures are covered by Sarbanes Oxley controls and all decisions making processes are completed in an audible manner.
•Maintain the integrity of documentation held in the UK Management System and proactively review and update in line with company polices.
•Ensure alignment amongst departments with respect to process improvement initiatives
•Work with stakeholders and education coordinator to ensure timely and appropriate education delivery
•Identify and develop methodology for commonly used process-related metrics
•Build, develop and grow business relationships vital to the success of the role

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
•Relevant experience in upstream oil and gas, preferably in a business analyst role
•Relevant experience and in depth knowledge of SAP
•Education: degree or technical diploma in Engineering or Technical disciplines or appropiate industry experience.
•A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance
•Experience modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques
•Sustain the KPI metrics and ensure its application
•Must be able to work independently and balance the competing priorities of the various demands
•Strong relationship building skills to work with employees across the company to achieve success
•Self confident and understand the importance of involving people to achieve collaborative problem solving
•Key behaviours are high motivation, initiative, team player, excellent communication and a customer orientated positive approach
