The Company:
Our client is a natural gas explorer and producer focused on establishing a world-class LNG project in Australia.

The Role:
A 12 month position has become available for a Business Process & Systems Lead. In this role you will drive and coordinate Contracts & Procurement (C&P) process and system improvements that support delivery of the company’s operations. You will work in close partnership with the Global Business Process/Systems Team, IT, and Finance to deliver and maintain effective business systems and solutions which meet global and local standards and governance requirements. These improvements will require expertise in SAP MM (Super User or Functional Consultant), contracts lifecycle management systems (eg ProCon), and other C&P systems and functional processes, training, and change management.

This is a key role in driving forward C&P’s business transformation activities, working closely with key stakeholders and resolving conflicts of interest between local needs and global requirements. The Business Process Lead will be expected to maximise value from C&P systems and processes in terms of the effectiveness of implementation and ongoing operations. Significant contracts and procurement delivery experience together with a consulting approach is required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
To be considered for this position you will have / be:
• Proven C&P functional expertise and systems competence in supporting operations.
• Strong process and systems experience in managing change and improving C&P processes using specifically SAP MM and contract lifecycle management systems (eg ProCon). Proven track record of delivery; will be acknowledged as having effectively implemented, managed, developed and supported C&P process and systems solutions and projects.
• Super User experience in SAP MM and contracts lifecycle management systems is a mandatory requirement.
• Excellent client engagement skills, building relationships with a broad internal stakeholder base, competent at leading meetings and presenting to senior level.
• Resources/oil & gas industry experience.
• Experience in developing and delivering training solutions.
• Degree qualified in either a business or information technology discipline with a solid C&P functional background.
