The Company:
Our Client is a world leading Automotive OEM which is responsible for some of the most iconic 4x4's & Sports Cars produced. Due to the huge demand for current models and substantial investment in future projects there is a requirement for more resources across the business in engineering & manufacturing on a contract basis.

The Role:
Business Process Improvement/Development Engineer within our clients Product Creation & Delivery organisation.
Our client's Product Creation & Delivery is a fast moving, dynamic, and immensely successful organisation, currently undergoing a significant period of growth and global expansion. This growth is driving the need to modify and re-engineer many of the organisation’s existing key work processes, as well as develop new business processes to support its transformation agenda. This Project Engineer role is based in the Process Excellence team, which is part of the Process Leadership Group - responsible for providing a robust and responsive business process improvement and re-engineering capability as well as providing board-level organisational transformation support.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing business process improvement and process development projects
• particularly within a cross-functional, end-to-end environment
• Facilitating and supporting process improvement and re-engineering projects being undertaken by other functions and departments within the organisation
• Providing direction, coordination and support to business process owners/ process improvement teams in development and implementation of business process improvements
• Assessing & analysing the capability and baseline performance of business processes
• Utilising data analysis skills (qualitative & quantitative) to identify process flaws and improvement opportunities in product development processes, and working with multiple stakeholders to deliver process improvement
• Identifying risk and deviations through process assurance ensuring set up of preventative and corrective measures

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
3 KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Highly collaborative with excellent networking, communication and consultation skills
2. Strong knowledge and experience in business process improvement, process modelling and re-engineering methods and tools
3. Project management methodology experience and skills

- Experience leading others in process reviews, business analysis, and/or special projects that include defining business requirements and developing strategies to improve work flow
- Professional experience of greater than 3 years
- Degree-level qualified

Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of automotive sector and new product introduction domain
- Basic competence in MS Project & Visio
- Intermediate competence in Excel (VBA toolset) - to develop and deploy reports from various data sources in a standard MS Excel format.
- Competent in usage of process modelling tools & methodologies
- Innovative & energetic presentation style
