The Company:
Subsidiary of major energy company, operating offshore gas fields and onshore gas processing terminals.

The Role:
This is a 12 month fixed term contract based in Heysham,

The successful candidate will report to the Business Support Co-ordinator and provide full administrative, clerical, technical and facilities support to all departments, often working to a demanding schedule where understanding prioritisation is important. The day to day tasks will vary both in content and complexity and a flexible, accommodating and customer focussed approach is a requirement of the role. The role is part of a team and the successful candidate will need to work closely with, and support, colleagues in providing an efficient and effective service to the business. Confidential information may be processed as part of the role and discretion must be maintained at all times.

The role requires strong Customer Service skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the business along with a high level of professionalism. An excellent team player and have the ability to focus on multiple tasks who is open to continuous learning, development and improvement. As well as;

•A flexible approach to working as a team member within various departments.
•Demonstrable experience of office practices and processes that will provide the necessary understanding of the integration of such support activities within an operational environment.
•Good verbal communication skills and a professional, customer focused manner
•Strong IT skills and experience in a variety of Microsoft software applications
•Understanding of the principles and processes of effective team working
