The Role:
The role

The Business Transformation Manager will join the Upstream Transformation leadership team to lead the deployment efforts of the global program. The role will report to and work closely with the VP of Transformation. As a result of extensive growth through mergers and acquisitions, the company operates with numerous processes and disparate systems that have not been streamlined, resulting in increased complexity, inefficiencies and added costs to support. In 2007, the Upstream embarked on a major effort to address this through process redesign and global implementation of SAP, Maximo and other technologies.

As a Business Transformation Manager (SAP, Maximo) your main duties will involve:
• The goal of the program is to enhance the Upstream’s performance and competitiveness through major business transformation based on common processes and systems.
• The project will drive improved safety and operational risk, reduced cost and the ability to fully leverage of the companies global scale and reach through standardization of processes and systems. This will be enabled through the creation of governance, processes, data, measures, and IT systems that are required to deliver benefits to the business.
• Lead the approach to deployment global Upstream Backbone program
• Integrate and shape the work of the process, data, change, and program management teams to provide a integrated and coherent approach to deployment
• Act as the primary interface between the central program team and the regional deployment teams
• Work with the Regional deployment teams to assure they have the capability, standards, and practices in place as defined by the central team
• Coach and advise the Regional Business Leads in their roles

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
As a Business Transformation Manager (SAP, Maximo) you will have experience:
• Strong experience within global business transformations
• SAP super user would be an advantage
• Extensive experience in leading and deploying integrated standard process programs
• Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to network effectively across a diverse set of stakeholders, and influence through persuasion, not delegation
• Experience in leading complex, integrated programs
• Bachelors Degree in an engineering/financial discipline or equivalent experience
