The Role:
The Business Travel Executive will deliver a consistently high quality booking and advisory service to corporate clients.

To help achieve the set sales budget for the Business Travel Centre, both individually and as part of a team.

To help grow the group travel market on behalf of the company.

To ensure that job specific activities do not introduce unacceptable business and safety risks to any aspect of the Company's operation, and that the appropriate policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to, ensuring that all such activities comply with the relevant sections of the Safety Case and the current Safety Plan.

The Business Travel Executive to provide a professional and co-ordinated ticketing service on behalf of the company to the business community.

To help promote the Business Travel Centre as the company's principle point of contact for group Travel bookings.

To help to promote the Business Travel Centre as the company's point of sale for Eurostar bookings.

To input data for customer accountancy.

The Business Travel Executive will be to maintain accurate and up to date records of all contacts made within the business community in order to provide advance and retrospective information should the need arise.

To deal with all aspects of correspondence relating to account holders.

To prepare refunds for Business and Group customers.

To perform all duties required to obtain a shift balance and maintain accurate account records for all sales undertaken.

To read all notices, instructions, circulars, etc. and to maintain office records in an up to date condition.

To ensure that all locked stock items are secured and maintained to a determined level of acceptability.

To assist the Contact Centre Manager as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A thorough knowledge of Railway ticketing is essential.

Self-motivated and able to work alone and as part of team.

Excellent communicator with a good standard of numeracy and literacy.

Flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure.

Working knowledge of Tribute, CRS, Excel and Word for Windows.
